The warm, dry climate in Yakima is conducive to a wide variety of businesses. Historically, the Valley has attracted a large labor force that is readily available and willing to work. The area has shopping choices comparable to other major metropolitan areas much larger than ours.
Businesses here include all means of services (such as shopping, automotive, business support, and the like), Valley area restaurants (including all available cuisines) and shopping. We encourage our guests, or area travellers, to support these businesses and their employees.
